AMICIE aims to provide a platform to bring together the best minds from all segments of the maritime trade and industry to address the issues facing the industry.

We aim to be a think tank of experts to deliberate on, conceive, influence and spearhead legislation and standards in the maritime trade industry.

We also have plans for ushering in excellence by imparting knowledge and training in Maritime Trade and  for setting up alternative dispute resolution systems.

We are here to give back to the industry the benefit of the collective wisdom and expertise of our members.  We set our standards high, but thats a normal for our members.

Our bye-laws says it all. What we do. Why we do. How we do. Afterall, every professional organisation needs to set its agenda and know its statutory rights and duties. We codify it in our bye-laws.

Our members are leaders in various segments of the maritime trade industry, ship owners, ship managers, port operators, regulators, classification, QSHE experts and cargo interests.
