With India becoming a economic power, dragged down by heavy population and huge imports, promoting exports through cost and time competitiveness through shipping and logistics, to be highlighted for prioritisation by all sectoral and segmental players in the industry. 

To achieve these objectives by 

(a) Promoting networking amongst Commercial, Technical and Legal professionals in shipping, logistics and related sector worldwide. 

(b) Holding, participate and conduct Seminars, Conferences, Conclaves etc., to discuss issues relating to the industry and seek solutions with authorities concerned.

(c) Drawing up membership and administrative rules and regulations

(d) Exercising supervision over the members of the society and secure for them such professional standing as may assist them in the discharge of their duties;

(e) Developing an online library for use of members and disseminate pertinent information

(f) Doing all such other lawful things as are incidental or conducive to the attainment of the above objects, or of any of them, which shall not be violative of the Laws of the State of Tamil Nadu and Central government rules.

(g) Creating, manage and promote institutional bodies for resolving marine and logistics related disputes.

(h) Activities of the society shall be carried on within Union of India
